Cavendish Park have made the local papers again! It’s no secret that we love our community, and now we have been shortlisted again for a prestigious award due to our community involvement.

From converting our minibus to an ice-cream van, pumpkin competitions with local schools and painting our Sea cadets HQ, we just love to get involved.

Here is what the Evesham Observer had to say!

STAFF and residents at an Evesham care home are celebrating after it was shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

Cavendish Park Care Home is in the running for the Community Involvement Award at the Caring UK Awards, which recognise excellence and achievement within the care sector across the UK.

The awards are organised by Script Events in conjunction with leading care industry magazine Caring UK, with support from headline sponsor Virgin Money.

Mel Hoskins, customer relations manager at the home said: “During the last two years, we have seen nothing but commitment, inclusivity and dedication from every community within the town and surrounding villages.

“If we win this one, we are bringing it back for you Evesham.”

In each category up to seven finalists have been selected and they will now go through to the next stage of the judging process.

The winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony hosted by Emmerdale actor Dean Andrews at The Athena in Leicester on December 2.
