Alexa... what's on today?
In November 22, we became one of the first care groups in the UK to introduce Alexa Smart Properties for Senior Living here at our Evesham care home, Cavendish Park.
Developed to enable our residents to feel more informed, independent and connected, through simple voice commands, loved ones can use Alexa to easily call family, friends, and our teams who are caring for them.
Empowered by this new form of independence, residents can keep up-to-date with current affairs, learn new interests, and listen to the radio. They can enquire about upcoming activities in the home, ask for a drink, elevenses and even ask what’s on today’s menu!

PainChek - Intelligent Pain Assessment
PainChek is a revolutionary way of using smartphones to better understand levels of pain and discomfort. The world’s first clinically proven digital pain assessment tool, PainChek uses AI and facial recognition technology to assess the micro-facial features of someone who may be in pain.
The implementation of PainChek provides our care teams with an even deeper understanding of how we can better manage a loved one’s level of pain. An invaluable innovation for those in our nursing and memory care communities who may be unable to fully articulate how their pain is affecting them.
