The Gruffalo…

In celebration of National Read a Book Day 2020 we wanted to do more than just read a book with our wonderful residents…we wanted to do something different and something which would bring much joy to loved ones and their families

So in true Majesticare style, we set out brainstorming the bestest, most fabulous and creative ideas and after much deliberation, we decided to create a special Majesticare adaption of Julie Donaldson’s classic bedtime story ‘The Gruffalo’… but with a special twist! This Majesticare adaption would be voiced EXCLUSIVELY by our talented residents!

So, without further ado… take a moment of calm with your family or just a moment to yourself, make a cup of tea, select your favourite biscuit… sit back and enjoy ‘The Gruffalo’ as read by our Majesticare Residents ?

Little Red Riding Hood…

So successful was our adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s ‘The Gruffalo’ that fans simply couldn’t help but demand a sequel… and that’s exactly what we did!

And presented with National Storytelling Week 2021, we seized the opportunity to create another beautiful adaption of a beloved children’s tale, of which we just had to choose… Little Red Riding Hood ❤

With big shoes to fill, this year’s talented cast of residents took the reading in their stride to create, what can only be described as a stunning, captivating and wonderful reading!
