Chip (Customer Relations Manager) & Dan (Home Manager) from Evesham’s newest luxury care home decided to spread some Easter cheer & a whole lot of Easter Eggs this bank holiday weekend.
After an early start collecting & labelling all of the eggs Chip & Dan set out first to the fire & police stations of Evesham.
They then made a surprise visit to the patients of Worcester Royal Hospital.
First stop was to Worcester Patient Transport Services to drop off eggs for all of the hard working transport & paramedic staff.
They then made a visit to River Bank Paediatrics ward to hand out eggs to the many children who unfortunately would not be making it home in time for Easter. The buzz & excitement from the staff helped to perk up a number of the children who even posed for a photograph with the hardworking staff.
Their final two stops took the pair to Avon & Evergreen to deliver eggs to the staff & patients of the elderly care wards. Whilst there they spent some time chatting with the teams about the complexities of elderly acute care & ways that Cavendish Park care home may be able to support them in the future.
Chip said “It was a pleasure to be able to promote the homes ethos of supporting local services & we are really thankful to all of the support services in Worcester & the amazing work they do.”
