Majesticare’s latest home Cavendish Park is due to open in May and will employ nearly 100 people once it is fully staffed. Construction is nearly complete on the three floor 67 bed home located on Offenham Road, Evesham.
Recruitment for key positions will commence shortly and will comprise a ‘Star-Catcher Day’ where we hope to recruit the cream of Evesham’s talent. Our Star Catcher initiative is focused on finding the very best talent who are like-minded and committed to delivering the best level of service and care.
Peta Mandleberg, commissioning manager, is overseeing all recruitment including deputy manager, nursing and care team, hospitality and administration staff. As well as recruiting, Peta is committed to developing Cavendish Park as a key part of the local community and is seeking local groups, schools, churches and volunteers to visit the home and take part in regular activities and events with the residents. A dedicated community room will be available for use by local groups.
Peta has been employed by Majesticare for the last couple of years and commissioned Cavendish Park’s sister home Fernhill House in Fernhill Heath.
Peta said: ‘We are very excited to be opening a home in Evesham. We have already been warmly welcomed by local residents and our proximity to residential housing means we can source talent from a very local pool of caring and passionate people. Our Star Catcher Days are a very effective way of recruiting for shared values rather than looking at just training and experience. We are more interested in what each individual can bring to the team and how they will contribute to the caring culture we will promote. We will advertise our Star Catcher Days on social media, through local press and on our website. We will be looking for exceptional people – so if that sounds like you, please keep watching for further details.”
